Five killed in van-truck collision on motorway near Chakri

ISLAMABAD, Sep 12: Five people were killed when a van
collided with a truck near Chakri on the motorway here Tuesday
morning.
A spokesperson for the National Highways and Motorways
Police talking to private news channel said the passenger van, travelling from Jhang to Rawalpindi, caught fire after the accident.
The fire was doused by fire brigade officials who reached
the site along with motorway police officials.
Six of the passengers in the van were injured and were shifted to
Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences in Islamabad.
The motorway police said the identities of the passengers
has yet to be ascertained.
