LAHORE Set to add another milestone to the revival of the country’s film industry, the new Pakistani romanticcomedy ‘Punjab Nahi Jaungi’ premiered in Lahore’s CineStar Theater ahead of Eid-ul-Azha. The star-studded event was attended by the film’s cast and crew, showbiz heavyweights, other industry notables and senior management of Bank Alfalah, the film’s main sponsor. The film’s debut screening proved to be a hit, receiving a positive response from the audience.
Directed by Nadeem Baig, ‘Punjab Nahi Jaungi’ is the latest romantic comedy from the makers of‘Jawani Phir Nahi Ani’, a 2015 comedy blockbuster. Scripted by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, the Bank Alfalah-sponsored movie centers on a love triangle involving Humayun Saeed, Mehwish Hayat and Urwa Hocane as lead actors. Other notable stars cast in the movie include Ahmed Ali Butt, Saba Hameed, Sohail Ahmed, Azfar Rehman and Naveed Shehzad.
The movie, which promises to be full of entertainment, is set to release across cinemas nationwide this Eid-ul-Azha.
